Gordon - Drums
At the age of eight Gordon’s dad bought him his first drum kit; he promptly joined the Coventry Corps of Drums and played in a school band . By 17n he was signed and touring the country playing to audiences big and small with likes of Erasure, Spear of Destiny & The Sweet to name a few. The inevitable happened though in 1990 when fatherhood took over, so drumming had to be shelved until early 2016 when he picked it up once more. Tin Dragons was already up and running when he joined the original line up in 2017, playing electro/synth 80s songs and began to love it all over again. He also joined U2-360 during 2018 but a family loss and Covid meant both projects wound up. Undaunted, he decided to give it one more go, taking up the reins with a line-up of his choosing, introducing some fantastic musicians, putting a cracking set of songs together... and went live. A couple of line-up changes later, Tin Dragons are now gigging regularly and looking forward to expanding further to different eras of music…. watch this space.

Kate - Vocals
The newest addition to the Tin Dragons line up, Kate has been a professional singer for 20+ years and has performed at Birmingham Symphony Hall, St David’s Centre, Cardiff and on local radio stations and the BBC, among others.
She has a powerful vocal range and loves to take the roof off venues with top tunes that you will certainly recognise. She’s also adept at creating a fantastic party atmosphere that gets the dance floor packed out with any audience.
From pop hits to rock classics, Kate loves performing the Tin Dragons set list that really is an exciting mix of genres.

Carl - Guitar
From a deep-rooted musical family, Carl was bound to end up doing something in music.
By the time he reached his 20s it was time to join his first band and several followed over many years involving different genres.
After Covid, the opportunity to join Tin Dragons was the motivation he needed to get the ‘axe’ out again, drawn by the quality and variety of music performed that suits his playing style a treat.

Tony - Bass
Brought up on Motown’s Wrecking Crew, seduced by the rhythms of soul, inspired by bass playing gods including James Jamerson, Carol Kaye, Stax’s Donald “Duck “ Dunn & personal icon Phil Lynott then stunned by the rebellious momentum of ’76 Punk & New Wave, bass player Tony lays down the deep foundations of the TD’ sound with pumping lines from the 8 to the bar and the 4 on the floor school of rhythm.
No frills, some trills, just rock solid bond-in-your-heart bass blended with that subtle twist of soul. This is Tony’s trademark and he delivers with aplomb.
Steve - Keyboards

Steve joined his first band in 1999 and has played all over the country at festivals, parties, pubs and clubs. He loves playing all genres of music from 70s disco, through the 80s and into the Britpop scene of the 90s, with some modern day stuff thrown in to keep everyone on their toes and grooving on the dancefloor all night.
